Active Aluminum Oxide / Activated Alumina

Active Aluminum Oxide / Activated Alumina

Active aluminum oxide is a white, spherical, porous material with uniform particle size, a smooth surface, and high mechanical strength. It has strong dilutability, does not swell or crack upon water absorption, and maintains its original shape. It is non-toxic, odorless, insoluble in water and ethanol, and can be regenerated. Active aluminum oxide features adsorption properties and catalytic activity, and is characterized by its high porosity, high dispersion, and large specific surface area.

    Advantage

As a porous, highly dispersed solid material with a large surface area, its microporous surface possesses characteristics required for catalytic action, such as adsorption properties, surface activity, and excellent thermal stability. It is widely used in various fields.

Applications of Active Aluminum Oxide / Activated Alumina

    Precautions for use

1: Do not open the packaging before use to avoid moisture absorption, which could affect performance.
2: Suitable for deep drying; the recommended operating conditions are with a pressure greater than 5 kg/cm².
3: The adsorption performance decreases over time and needs to be regenerated to restore performance. The regeneration conditions include maintaining a temperature of 120-240°C for 3 hours.
Storage and Transportation of Activated Alumina:

1: Store in a cool, dry place to prevent the inner and outer packaging bags from breaking, and to avoid moisture absorption and the adsorption of other substances in the air.

2: Avoid strong vibrations and friction during transportation to prevent breakage.
3: Fire safety: avoid direct contact with fire sources.
    Safety Usage Recommendations:

1: Avoid use under acidic and alkaline conditions, as alumina is an amphoteric oxide and may react with acids and bases, leading to degradation.

2: Handle with care during loading and unloading to minimize breakage.

3: Keep away from pollution sources to prevent mixing with toxic or harmful substances.
