Electrodialysis Device
EDI equipment, also known as Electrodeionization (EDI), integrates electrodialysis and ion exchange technologies. It utilizes both cation and anion exchange membranes to selectively allow the passage of cations and anions, and ion exchange resins to swap ions in the water. Under the influence of an electric field, this process facilitates the directed migration of ions, achieving deep purification and desalting of water. Additionally, the hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions generated from water electrolysis continuously regenerate the ion exchange resins, allowing for the continuous production of high-quality ultrapure water without the need for acid or alkali chemical regeneration.
