Bromine Resource Recovery Solution

This project involves treating high-bromine concentration wastewater from a pesticide production company, with a flow rate of 35 m3/day, COD ranging from 60,000 to 80,000 mg/L, and bromide ion content between 30,000 and 40,000 mg/L. Longantai Environmental applies its independently developed bromine resource recovery technology to recover over 90% of the bromine from the wastewater. Additionally, the technology significantly reduces the COD of the wastewater, achieving a COD removal rate of over 50%.
The recovery of valuable bromine resources not only ensures that the wastewater meets discharge standards but also generates substantial economic benefits for the company. This process is crucial for achieving sustainable resource recycling and aligns with the principles of green development.
Wastewater Quality: The wastewater contains bromide ions at concentrations of 30,000 to 40,000 mg/L, COD ranging from 60,000 to 80,000 mg/L, a salinity of ≥100,000 mg/L, and a variety of complex, hard-to-degrade organic compounds.
Influent Water Volume: 35 m3/d
