Qinyang Hongsheng Fine Chemicals Case

The project has a treatment capacity of 300 m3/day with a COD of 8,000 mg/L and involves wastewater from a chemical enterprise. Longantai Environ. applied its independently developed multistage catalytic oxidation technology to remove hard-to-degrade pollutants while improving biodegradability, reducing the burden on subsequent biochemical treatment processes. The treated effluent meets the receiving standards of the industrial park’s wastewater treatment plant with COD < 300 mg/L. This enables the recycling of water used in the chemical park’s production processes, addressing water resource shortages and meeting the requirements of China’s sustainable recycling strategy.

Wastewater Quality: The wastewater has a high concentration of organic matter and poor biodegradablility, making it particularly challenging to treat.

Influent Water Volume: 300 m3/d

Process Description:The main components include structures such as an equalization tank, emergency tank, pH adjustment tank, high-efficiency sedimentation tank, A/O biochemical tank, secondary sedimentation tank, and sludge thickening tank. Equipment includes the LEM micro-electrolysis reactor, LDF Fenton reactor, and UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket) reactor. Additional facilities comprise a backwash blower room, sewage treatment plant effluent discharge pipeline, emergency wastewater pipeline, reclaimed water pipeline, sludge treatment workshop, dosing room, deodorization room, laboratory, and a comprehensive building
