Coal Chemical Wastewater Treatment

The chemical wastewater discharged by enterprises in the coal chemical new materials industrial park, along with some municipal sewage, is treated using ozone catalytic oxidation (LCO) for advanced treatment.

This project is primarily designed for the compliant treatment of concentrated wastewater generated by the existing RO system at Qingdao Special Steel.

The existing treatment process flow is as follows: ammonia wastewater → oil separation tank → flotation machine → regulation tank → anaerobic tank → anoxic tank → aerobic tank → secondary sedimentation tank → coagulation reaction tank → coagulation sedimentation tank → filter. Currently, the system operates with an effluent COD of approximately 120-150 mg/L, which does not meet the existing discharge standards. It is necessary to implement advanced treatment of the wastewater to reduce the concentration of organic matter, ensuring the long-term stable operation of the sewage treatment system, lowering operational costs, and achieving discharge standards.

This project has a treatment capacity of 2,400 m3/d and is a wastewater treatment project for a key coal chemical enterprise located in the Wutong Industrial Park, Wutong Town, Xiaoyi City, Lvliang, Shanxi Province.
