Petrochemical wastewater treatment

The project has a treatment capacity of 100,000 m3/day and is part of the Belt and Road Initiative’s development strategy for a trillion-level green petrochemical and fine chemical industrial park. Longantai Environmental Protection has applied its independently developed multi-stage catalytic oxidation technology to efficiently remove residual hard-to-degrade pollutants from the wastewater. This technology enables the reuse of treated water within the park, meeting the Class IV standards of the "Surface Water Environmental Quality Standard" with COD < 30, ammonia nitrogen < 1.5, and total phosphorus < 0.3. This contributes to the creation of a world-class petrochemical industrial base that emphasizes resource recycling and environmental friendliness.
Wastewater Quality: The wastewater has a high concentration of organic matter, making it challenging to treat.

Process Description: The main components include an equalization tank, emergency tank, hydrolysis tank, EBIS tank, high-efficiency sedimentation tank, ozone catalytic oxidation tank, BAF (Biological Aerated Filter) tank, continuous sand filter, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, sodium hypochlorite disinfection system, as well as backwash blower room and backwash pump room, ozone preparation room, effluent discharge pipeline from the wastewater treatment plant, emergency wastewater pipeline, reclaimed water pipeline, workshops, chemical dosing room, deodorization room, and a comprehensive building.
