Reverse Osmosis Brine Treatment

The project is designed for a water flow rate of 35 m³/h, with the primary goal of reducing wastewater COD and ammonia nitrogen to achieve compliance with discharge standards. Currently, most industry practices for this type of wastewater involve either recycling it back to the front-end biological system or using it for wet coke quenching. However, with increasingly stringent environmental regulations, the large-scale mandatory promotion of dry coke quenching in coking enterprises has nearly eliminated wet quenching. Consequently, the recycling of membrane concentrate is leading to higher organic and salt loads in the biological system, making the deep treatment of membrane concentrate a pressing issue in the coking industry.
